What does a wedding really cost today \u2013 and why is an average figure often not enough for realistic budget planning?<\/p>

For a recent report by the German news programme ZDFheute<\/strong>, Anna-Maria Rock was interviewed as press spokesperson of the Bund deutscher Hochzeitsplaner (Association of German Wedding Planners)<\/strong> and as an experienced wedding planner. She also brought in her practical experience from more than twelve years of professional wedding planning and her daily work as managing director of rockwedding.<\/p>

The interview covered why the cost of a wedding<\/strong> has risen significantly in recent years, which areas have a particularly strong impact on the wedding budget and why couples should not plan their wedding solely on the basis of general averages. Factors such as the number of guests, the wedding venue, catering, staff, florals, furnishings, transport and logistics have a direct effect on the total cost.<\/p>

Anyone planning a wedding today therefore needs not only inspiration but above all realistic cost planning and clearly defined priorities. As wedding planners, we see again and again that budgets fail less because of big wishes than because of cost items that were not fully considered at the start of the planning.<\/p>
