The rockwedding wedding planning team is based near Freiburg – the ideal starting point for planning weddings in southern Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland. Our wedding planners planned Claudia & Nicolas’s big day in Basel.
The glasshouse near Basel, in beautiful Switzerland, was the perfect backdrop for our couple. Being surrounded by nature has its advantages, of course: on the one hand you can take beautiful wedding photos, and on the other, noise is not a big issue (a point that always has to be considered).

Symbolic ceremony
The ceremony at this wedding took place romantically under the open sky in the middle of the garden of the wedding venue Paradisum near Basel in Switzerland. Of course, the wedding planners made sure there was enough shade – however beautiful a symbolic ceremony may be, it can become a nightmare for guests if it’s too hot. The wedding took place in August and it was very hot. Thanks to the parasols, however, this was no problem for the guests or the couple.

A glass of prosecco for the happy couple
The aperitivo took place in the courtyard. The cosy lounges from vonRock Events invited everyone to relax and enjoy a glass of prosecco.
Decoration
A romantic wedding dinner
We wedding planners transformed the empty glasshouse into a romantic dinner table full of light. That meant: setting up tables, ironing tablecloths, arranging chairs, polishing and placing tall candlesticks, distributing beautiful flower arrangements by Blume Exclusiv from Heidelberg and much more. The lighting created the perfect ambience: elaborate illumination throughout the entire glasshouse with cosy, dimmed light levels.
