Wenkenhof riding hall in Riehen
With us as your wedding planners, you can get married anywhere in southern Germany and Switzerland. Our couple Sarah and Chris asked us to support them with their wedding planning to make their absolute dream wedding come true.
It all started with the search for the right wedding venue – where would the two of them get married? We had some beautiful ideas up our sleeve and suggested several venues for their wedding day. In the end they chose the beautiful Wenkenhof riding hall, which can be rented through Albrecht Catering in Switzerland. The park right next to the Wenkenhof riding hall is another highlight and perfect for a wedding photo shoot. Before heading to the Wenkenhof riding hall, there was a beautiful church ceremony, where we contributed to the romantic mood with small decorative details. Our white Chiavari Tiffany chairs, which we decorated with “mr & mrs” lettering and flowers, served as the couple’s chairs.
Decorating, organising
and calming nerves
For this wedding we designed a beautiful decoration concept during the planning phase and brought it to life on the wedding day. The planning also included organising a wedding car, booking a classical ensemble for the church and choosing a band to get everyone in the mood in the evening. We also came up with something special for Sarah and Chris’s wedding for the late hours after sunset – more on that later. Our tasks on the wedding day mainly consisted of decorating, organising and calming nerves. We wedding planners also took on the role of master of ceremonies. The decoration concept for this wedding was very classic, with a colour palette that combined warm floral tones with our linen napkins in eucalyptus. The beautiful bouquets served as centrepieces on the dinner tables and were presented in large, elegant glass vases. In the evening there was a special highlight: after a short walk by the whole wedding party to the nearby lake, the guests placed paper lanterns with glowing candles inside on the water. The reflections on the water’s surface created a truly romantic mood – perfect for a wedding with such a sweet couple as Sarah and Chris.
It was a wonderful day with many facets, emotions and great moments. Our wedding photographer Dominic accompanied the two of them all day and was able to capture some truly great pictures. Let the photos speak for themselves.
