When the November mist drifts gently over the Moselle vineyards and the autumn chill sets in, Schloss Lieser turns into a backdrop that seems to have come straight out of a fairy tale. As experienced wedding planners at the wedding agency rockwedding, we were able to design a very special winter wedding in this architectural gem in November 2025. With its striking slate roofs, playful turrets and historic aura, the castle offers the perfect setting for couples planning an extraordinary castle wedding in Germany. In the off-season in particular, the estate develops an intimate, almost dreamy charm that is shown to particular advantage by professional wedding planning. The grey stone façades of the castle formed an impressive contrast to the warm lighting concept inside, which transported the guests into a world of elegance and comfort as soon as they arrived. Colour scheme
An individually tailored decoration concept
The centrepiece of this wedding was undoubtedly the tailor-made decoration and wedding concept, which we built around the theme “macchiato beige”. In close collaboration with our in-house rental company vonRock, we managed to create an atmosphere that radiated incredible warmth despite the cold outside temperatures. Our palette consisted of soft beige tones, creamy white accents and earthy nuances that harmonised perfectly with the interior of Schloss Lieser. The absolute design highlight and eye-catcher of the evening were the round tables, which we lined up in an innovative formation. Instead of classic individual tables or a rigid long table, we opted for a flowing arrangement made possible by vonRock’s furniture. These curved lines of tables not only encouraged conversation among the guests but also made a strong visual statement in the banqueting hall. The combination of high-quality textiles, delicate florals in autumnal whites and browns and countless candles created a picture of pure elegance. This kind of wedding decor impressively shows how we as a wedding agency reinterpret traditional elements to create an exclusive, modern and timeless aesthetic for our couples.
