We had the pleasure of creating an absolutely dreamy wedding at Lake Garda in Italy for our wonderful couple C&M. This destination wedding was something very special from the start – emotional, exclusive and with a unique setting right on the water. At first, though, the mood was clouded: it was pouring with rain when everyone arrived, and there were real worries that the celebration would be a washout. At the final walk-through the day before the wedding, we as wedding planners went through the bad-weather plan B with the couple once more, encouraged them and said: if the weather holds, we’ll go for plan A. And what can we say? Plan A won! On the morning of the wedding only a few scattered drops fell – after that the sky cleared and we were able to set everything up outdoors, just as the couple had wished. The symbolic ceremony in front of the old tower was an absolute highlight and made this wedding in Italy a true goosebumps moment.

Getting Ready

Starting the big day relaxed

The beauty of destination weddings? The couple and their guests usually arrive a few days early – and that is exactly what creates a relaxed, easy-going mood on the wedding day. It was the same for C&M: the wedding weekend began the evening before with a warm get-together in the charming little town of Salò. Over a glass of wine, Mediterranean flair and lots of happy faces, all the guests could arrive in a relaxed way, get to know each other and start an unforgettable weekend together.

The wedding day itself began calmly and full of anticipation – with a relaxed getting ready in carefully chosen accommodation, plenty of sunshine in everyone’s hearts and the quiet feeling: today is going to be a very special day. It is exactly this combination of travel, emotion and time together that makes a destination wedding at Lake Garda so special.

The ceremony

C&M’s ceremony was simply beautiful – a very special moment full of emotion, love and personality. For the setting we chose elegant columns with lush flower arrangements that suited the Mediterranean ambience perfectly. The special thing: we were able to reuse the floral elements later at dinner – a cohesive floral concept that ran through the whole day and was part of the overall decoration concept.

The ceremony itself was emotional and at the same time full of lightness. Little flower children happily scattered their petals, the “Ring Security Boys” raised a charming smile – and when a close friend of the couple led the ceremony, there was hardly a dry eye in the house. There was laughter, there were tears and there was simply feeling – exactly as a ceremony should be: personal, meaningful and unforgettable.

Straight after the emotional ceremony, all guests headed to the drinks reception – and it could not have started in a more stylish way: the couple opened the reception with an impressive champagne tower – a festive moment with a wow effect. This part of the wedding was accompanied by a walking band from Nice – a real highlight and one of the special vendors of the weekend. The musicians mingled charmingly with the guests, created a lively atmosphere and even took song requests. The atmosphere was full of joie de vivre and lightness. Not to forget: the wonderful Italian aperitivo buffet! Pure indulgence – true to the Italian way of life and a perfect fit for an exclusive wedding at Lake Garda.

While the guests lingered over the aperitivo, the bride and groom used the perfect moment for a short break just for the two of them. A stylish speedboat took them out onto Lake Garda – a romantic boat tour that offered not only an intimate pause from the hustle and bustle but also breathtaking wedding photos against a spectacular backdrop. This exclusive couple shoot on the water was an absolute highlight and a wonderful way to be completely in the here and now for a moment – just the two of them, surrounded by the magic of the lake. A wedding by the water offers exactly these special moments that stay in your memory for a long time.

An unforgettable entrance to dinner – pure joy & an infectious atmosphere

One of our absolute favourite moments at weddings? The couple’s grand entrance to dinner! With rousing music, cheering guests and a sea of waving napkins, C&M were welcomed with enthusiasm – pure goosebumps and a party mood from the very first moment. The dinner was part of an event concept full of loving details, in which atmosphere, timing, music, design and emotion came together perfectly.

But this wedding dinner was anything but a classic sequence of courses. Between the courses, the walking act band – which had already got everyone in the mood at the drinks reception – provided musical highlights again and again. The guests could hardly stay in their seats; there was dancing, laughing and celebrating – right in the middle of dinner! This energetic atmosphere, the music, the lighting, the florals and the emotions turned the dinner into a real experience – lively, unique and simply unforgettable. Special moments like these show how important well thought-out wedding planning and event planning are for a destination wedding.

Planning C&M’s wedding was an absolute highlight for us. From the first conversation to the big day, we connected on so many levels that a classic planning process became a true labour of love. Despite a 14-hour day on site, we didn’t feel like mere service providers – but like part of the wedding party. This connection, this trust and the shared vision shaped the entire year of planning. Over more than twelve months we were able to shape this special day side by side with the couple – with lots of joy, love for detail, a cohesive design, carefully selected wedding vendors and real team spirit.
