Wedding at Schloss Meßkirch
On 1 February 2020 the time had come for us: the start of the season! Yes, you read that right. For us wedding planners, the 2020 wedding season already began in February – and who says wedding planners have nothing to do in winter? Not only do the planning phases of all our weddings run at full speed in winter – we even get to host weddings!
Wedding planning in record time
We started the season with a truly wonderful couple – she from Peru, he from Germany. The two booked us at very short notice, so we put together a dream wedding at Schloss Meßkirch in no time, true to the motto: nothing is impossible. In just eight weeks we planned everything around the venue they had already chosen. A matching decoration concept was created and the perfect vendors were found and booked. As part of our full-service planning, we supported our couple with all their wishes and, in the shortest possible time, brought a beautiful concept to life at Schloss Meßkirch: greenery and gold accents played the leading role on the dinner tables and were put in the right light by magical fairy lights.
We accompanied the couple at their ceremony in Schwenningen and at the celebration afterwards at Schloss Meßkirch. On the wedding day itself, we prepared the castle, brought the decoration concept to life and fine-tuned the couple’s idea to perfection on site. As masters of ceremony, we coordinated the vendors, were available to the couple and guests all day long and made the day as pleasant and uncomplicated for our couple as possible. The day after, our practical after-wedding service collected everything from the castle again – so our couple could start their first day of marriage in peace.
Our tips for a wedding with a short planning time
Not much time until the wedding? Then the most important decision is already half the battle: this couple had already chosen their venue – so in just eight weeks we could focus entirely on the decor concept and vendors.
With a short lead time, decide quickly and put one person in charge of the organisation. A clear colour concept – here greenery with gold accents – makes every further choice easier, from the flowers to the table decor.
And don’t be afraid of winter: a wedding in February has its own charm. Fairy lights and candles create a warm, magical atmosphere in a castle, and many vendors still have free dates outside peak season.
