A CHINESE-GERMAN WEDDING FULL OF ELEGANCE, TRADITIONS & MODERN DETAILS
This couple came to us just three months before their wedding – wishing to celebrate an elegant Chinese-German wedding. No sooner said than done!
Of course, we took on the challenge without hesitation. The result was an extraordinary and luxurious wedding that stylishly combined both cultures.
Decoration concept
VIBRANT RED, GOLDEN DETAILS AND AN ORANGERY FULL OF ATMOSPHERE
The main colour of the decoration was a vibrant red – the classic colour of good fortune in China. The colour concept was complemented by gold highlights and dark shades of green.
Especially in the dining hall of the orangery at the Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, the whole design looked elegant, extraordinary and perfectly matched to the venue.
Symbolic ceremony
A SUMMER CEREMONY IN THE PARK OF THE VILLA IN BADEN-BADEN
The wedding day in August could hardly have been more beautiful:
the weather was perfect, so the symbolic ceremony could take place in the park in front of the villa. This was followed by a stylish drinks reception and the first photo shoots with the bridesmaids, the best men and various groups of guests.
After a short break, the bride changed into a traditional red dress before the evening began with dinner.
EVENING PROGRAMME
TRADITIONS, SPEECHES AND A DINNER FULL OF SPECIAL MOMENTS
Between the courses, the couple introduced their guests and families. Speeches were given in both German and Chinese – a special moment full of emotion and appreciation.
Very typical of Chinese weddings was also the couple’s ceremonial entrance together with their families – accompanied by music, applause and the official introduction of the families.
Party
An exuberant celebration until midnight
Agata accompanied the evening until midnight and made sure that the programme, dinner and schedule flowed perfectly into one another.
Randy Club from Freiburg provided the musical highlights and a fantastic atmosphere – turning the evening into an unforgettable party.
Our tips for your multicultural wedding
At a wedding of two cultures, the colour concept is a lovely way to make traditions visible. Here red – the classic colour of luck in China – was the main colour, complemented by gold and dark green. The result was a design that spoke to both families and still remained elegant.
Talk early with both families about which rituals matter to them: a ceremonial entrance with the families, speeches in both languages, a change of dress for the bride. These moments should be fixed in the schedule so that the kitchen, music and photographer are prepared for them.
And when time is short: even in three months a luxurious wedding can be achieved – if decisions are made quickly and a planner holds all the threads together. An established venue with its own service team is a big advantage here.
