Hoher Darsberg

A beautiful outdoor ceremony

The Hoher Darsberg is one of the top venues in the wedding industry and, near Heidelberg, offered a very special place for Aya and Marc’s dream wedding. For our Japanese-German couple, wedding guests even travelled all the way from Japan.

The beautiful bride and her father entered the white ceremony marquee with radiant smiles, where the guests sat on white vonRock Louis chairs. These wonderful moments were captured by wedding photographer Tobias Tumac. The celebrant’s emotional speech was held in two languages for all the guests.

Transforming the dining hall into a sea of stars

As the wedding planner, Anna-Maria designed a very special wedding design concept for this wedding. An enchanting ambience was created in blue and gold. On tablecloths in Insignia Blue from the vonRock rental collection, the golden lanterns, candlesticks, gold-rimmed glass plates and matt gold cutlery really stood out. Something very special about this wedding: the tablecloths were dyed specifically for this unique concept. The blue and gold tones were also picked up in the beautiful bouquets on the tables and on the menu cards. Everything shimmered like a blue and gold sea of stars.

Catering

A special menu for two special cultures

The mix of cultures at this wedding was also reflected in the menu. Our wedding planners even bought extra chopsticks for the Japanese dishes, as the ones ordered unfortunately weren’t delivered. That was no problem, though – with rockwedding as your wedding planning team at your side, nothing is left to chance and extra chopsticks get bought. One special main course was Japanese wagyu beef, delivered directly from Japan.

First dance & wedding cake

Emotions in the evening

WOW – the wedding cake was magical and rounded off the whole decoration concept. Another special highlight of the evening was the first dance. On the terrace next to the dining hall, Aya and Marc danced their first dance as husband and wife and captivated all the guests – and us as wedding planners.

Let’s get this party started

After the first dance, everyone partied on the balcony/terrace of the Hoher Darsberg. Anyone who wanted to party into the small hours could do so in the vaulted cellar – after-party, here I come! For us as wedding planners that means: our work is done, because our couple could celebrate with their guests perfectly well on their own!
