A symbolic ceremony with sea views at the Port Verd event venue
In September we had the pleasure of accompanying our couple Jenny & Michael to Mallorca and planning and carrying out their symbolic ceremony at the Port Verd event venue.
Its extraordinary location right by the sea made the wedding something very special. Together with our photography team, we accompanied the whole day – from planning and decoration to coordinating all vendors and transfers on site.
For the couple it was quickly clear: the symbolic ceremony should take place right on Mallorca’s cliffs – with a view of the sea and the sound of the waves in the background.
VINTAGE CONCEPT & MALLORCA ATMOSPHERE
Between sunset, rain showers and truly big moments
The wedding’s design concept was defined by a modern vintage atmosphere with eucalyptus, lavender and natural materials. The flowers were reflected throughout the decoration – from the bridal bouquet to the table design.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed canapés, wedding cake and prosecco with fresh fruit on the venue’s terrace.
And then Mallorca suddenly showed its spontaneous side: sunshine, rain showers, everything back inside – and a little later back outside again. Flexibility is sometimes simply part of destination weddings.
The wedding dinner finally took place indoors before heading out once more to the impressive cliffs right next to the venue for the couple shoot.
To round things off, the party continued late into the night at a private finca with a pool – including sparklers for the first dance and an unforgettable party.
Our tips for your wedding in Mallorca
Mallorca offers dreamlike backdrops – but even in September the weather can change suddenly. At this wedding it was sun, a rain shower, everything indoors and shortly afterwards back outside again. So choose a venue with both indoor and outdoor areas, and if in doubt plan the dinner indoors.
A vintage concept with eucalyptus, lavender and natural materials suits the island beautifully. Pick up the flowers of the bridal bouquet in the table decor – that creates a cohesive look from the reception to the dinner.
Feel free to split the day between two places: a venue with a sea view for the ceremony and dinner, and a private finca for the party late into the night. Well-organised transfers for all guests are essential.
