A summer wedding in Mallorca
It all began with a visit to our wedding loft, where the Swiss couple asked us for support with their wedding. A wedding in Mallorca?! Of course, we wedding planners – and our wedding photographers – were on board straight away and able to offer a comprehensive service. It all started with the search for the venue: it was to be Finca Son Mir. After the site visit it was clear: this is a place where you can celebrate a dream wedding! Our wedding planners recommended the best vendors on the island – only those we could recommend wholeheartedly. Reliability is everything for us as wedding planners. For the couple, we remained their competent contact in Germany, and the meetings took place at our wedding loft. We handled the coordination and organisation with the vendors in Mallorca. We have the best contacts on the sunny island of Mallorca, which help us create the perfect wedding again and again.
Decoration concept
A dinner table in grey
We created the decoration concept during the planning and took care of the complete organisation and ordering of the equipment. A long dinner table with floor-length grey tablecloths, succulents and lots of candles – a feast for the eyes and another highlight of this dream wedding. For the children, we organised wonderful childcare by Kids Up Mallorca throughout the wedding evening. This meant the little ones were well looked after and the adults could enjoy the wedding without worrying about them. Sandra Backwinkel and Hernan played fantastic live music for the ceremony and the apéro afterwards. The ceremony itself was very emotional and beautifully led by celebrant Diana Hirsch from Mallorca. After the ceremony, a live sketch artist entertained the guests, who could take the drawings home as a souvenir after the wedding. Mahra and Chris: a very interesting and warm-hearted couple!

Cap Formentor
On the day after the wedding, the two invited everyone to an after-wedding party at Finca Cas Misser. We wedding planners joined in the barbecue and refuelled before heading off to check the location for the next morning. Early the next day, we were off again: a proper hike to the northernmost point of Mallorca – Cap Formentor, easily recognised by its lighthouse! A viewpoint for many tourists and a popular spot for wedding photography. We played early birds and were at the top of the mountain before sunrise – resulting in fantastic wedding photos in complete privacy! As a wedding favour, every guest received a wonderful olive oil from Finca Son Mir.
What an experience! We are so grateful for the trust placed in us as wedding planners and in our work.

Our tips for your wedding at a finca in Mallorca
A finca in Mallorca offers lots of space – gardens, terraces and long tables under the open sky. If possible, visit the venue in person beforehand: only on site does it become clear where the ceremony, aperitivo and dinner will look their best.
For destination weddings, a contact person at home is worth its weight in gold. For this Swiss couple, all meetings took place in our wedding loft, while we handled the coordination with the vendors on the island. When choosing vendors, look for reliability – abroad it is everything.
If children are joining the celebration, professional childcare throughout the evening is worth it. And entertainment such as a caricature artist after the ceremony keeps guests happy while the couple is at the photo shoot.
