From wedding dress to plaster – how it all began

On 14 June 2014, the regional newspaper Badische Zeitung reported on my work as a wedding planner. Under the title “Vom Brautkleid bis zum Pflaster” (From wedding dress to plaster), Iris König portrayed how I support couples in planning their wedding with my then still young wedding and event agency rockwedding.

The beginnings of rockwedding in Elzach

Back then my name was still Anna-Maria Althaus-Rock. A trained hotel specialist and event manager from Elzach, I had just started my own business with rockwedding. Even then my aim was clear: the couple should simply feel at ease on their day – and in the end the wedding photos, the memories for a lifetime, have to be right too.

The article shows what goes on behind a wedding: a lot of organisation in advance, logistics in the background and, on the wedding day itself, a planner who is on site, lends a hand and reacts quickly when something does not go to plan. That has not changed to this day.

If the couple thinks “cool party”, then I am happy too.
